Edwin Rodriguez is a professional boxer with a record of 18-0 since his debut in 2008 after compiling an 84-9 amateur record in the sport. This phenomenal super middleweight prospect is poised for a breakout year in 2011 in one of the toughest divisions in boxing.
The Dominican Republic native and resident of Worcester, Massachusetts will be in attendance at Battle of the Badges III on April 30, 2011 to meet and greet fans and generate some support for his foundation.
The Edwin Rodriguez Foundation supports children with developmental disabilities and is a product of Edwin's own experience with his young twins. As a 2008 Olympic hopeful, the premature birth of his babies Edwin Jr. and Serena Lynn changed his priorities. He now wants to give back and help others in the same situation he found himself battling outside the ring when the health of his children put boxing on the back burner. Please watch the following video for more details on this young warrior, and stop by his Web-site for further information.
